What is Newsreel?
Newsreel is an exciting monthly audio magazine available on both audio cassette tape and in digital mp3 format. Produced by and for persons who are blind or visually impaired, Newsreel contains news, supportive articles, information and entertainment.
Newsreel subscribers submit the various articles that are heard on the monthly Newsreel Magazine issues. People tell it like it is, with particular insights, experiences and talents to share on a three-hour audio monthly magazine.
A subscription to Newsreel introduces members to a wonderful new extended family on tape as well as a caring support group. Newly blind subscribers learn how to cope in a sighted world from those who have learned to live with loss of sight.
